Terms & Conditions
By applying and accepting this spot you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
- Your items must NOT infringe on IP rights (if you are not sure please ask).
- You confirm that your items comply with all relevant government regulations.
- Stall fees will go into covering the costs of venue fees, insurance, equipment hire, decoration and promotion. If you cancel, we will NOT be able to give you a refund. YOUR SITE FEE IS NOT REFUNDABLE
- In the event that the market is cancelled due to COVID restrictions you will get a refund.
- Your stall is NOT transferable so you cannot sell your spot to someone else as we need to approve all vendors and site placements.
- If you are selling items in the Bath & Beauty or Toys category you will need your own Public Liability & Product insurance to the value of $20 million. Please forward a copy of your certificate to Cat at [email protected] by 30th September
- If you sell food you will need a food permit from the Glenorchy City Council and you will need to send a copy of the certificate to Cat at [email protected] by 30th September. Any food sold must be packaged and NOT for consumption at the market.
- The organisers of the market and the "venue" will not be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your personal belongings or products
- You agree to share, post and promote the market on your social media and by distributing leaflets.
- You agree to bump in at your allocated time and be set up and ready to sell by 9.30am on Saturday & Sunday. You also agree to stay until close of trade and not pack up before 4pm
- You agree to have hand sanitiser readily available at your site and sanitise your hands and any surfaces touched after each transaction.
- You agree to socially distance at all times.
- You agree to have a floor length on 3 sides table cloth for any table(s)
- Code of Conduct: Rudeness, bullying or abuse to the organiser, committee, other vendors or customers will not be tolerated either before or during the market. This includes, but is not limited to, emails, messages, Facebook Group posts, social media posts on other platforms or in person communications. What constitutes rudeness, bullying or abuse will be determined by the organiser and this decision is final. Rudeness, bullying or abuse will result in immediate termination of your right to trade at the market and your fees will be forfeited.
- Whilst we will do everything in our power to bring as many customers as possible to the market we cannot guarantee numbers or sales. The Organisers make no claims or promises as to the number or value of your sales on the day.
- If the market needs to change venue or date for any reason all vendors will be offered a place at the new venue or date. (Refunds will NOT be given if you choose to pull out due to change in venue.)
- Paying your stall deposit constitutes accepting your spot and your agreement and acceptance of the terms and policies of the Application Form and this letter of offer and is in lieu of a signature.
